Currently in my mug
As I just mentioned below, I have Ethiopian Harar coffee. Roasting has been a challenge in the recent winter weather yet I am exploring wonderful and new flavours in my mug. I roast outside using a popcorn popper. Currently I estimate that I have a medium to full-city blend. (A blend is inevitable in -15C conditions.) Tastes amazing though. You just can’t get this in most coffee shops. Which is why i usually get espresso in coffee shops which I just can’t get at home.
I still have almost a pound of Yirgacheffe left so I may try an intentional blend someday of Harar and Yirgacheffe. If these names are unfamiliar to you then I invite you to come by some time for a cup of coffee and get acquainted.
